If you plan to hit the mountains to practice snow sports, you have to be prepared. It does not matter if you are one of those who does not get off the chairlift or one of those who has never been to the snow. We are sure that what I am telling you will help you prepare your suitcase.
First you have to find out where you are going to get the ski or snowboard equipment. If you have your own, no problem, surely you already have everything prepared. If not in Sort there are several rental shops, decide which modality you are going to practice and find out what type of equipment you should rent for your condition.
Aside from all your snow gear, you'll need warm clothing to combat the cold. Remember that several thin quality coats do much more than anything else. They will help you keep the heat inside, but it is important that they allow you to breathe. It is not good or pleasant to perspire a lot, since then you can notice it going down.
Start from the bottom, to organize yourself, putting thermal underwear and long-sleeved shirts in the suitcase, and then the rest of the clothes. If your feet are very cold, consider wearing thin socks and then thicker ones on top, apart from wearing very good boots . You'll also need a waterproof snow jacket (if it's the one with an inner lining even better).
Of course, also organize the rest of the essential elements with a list, such as the helmet (it is always better if you are safe), a hat, a scarf or buff and two pairs of gloves: one for skiing and the other for casual.
Don't forget to take care of the sun. Bring some snow goggles, or at least sunglasses with good lenses, as everything gets brighter when light reflects off snow. It also includes a high protection sun cream, both for the skin and for the lips , since the sun burns more in the mountains than on the beach. And don't forget to take care of your hands either, the skin will suffer a lot with so much cold and wind.
All of this is fine for use during the day on the slopes, but don't forget to fill the suitcase with what you need for later.
A piece of advice for the girls: forget about heels, walking through icy streets with them is synonymous with an accident.
