Starting this Thursday, the town of Sort hosts the International Open and Spanish Freestyle Kayak Championship, as part of the program of events for the 50th Noguera Pallaresa International Rally, which will feature the best Spanish specialists and a wide representation of international experts in this modality. . During the day yesterday the preliminary phases were played in the four categories and today the first semifinals will begin to be played.
The first position in the K1 cadet category went to Mikel Puldain, with a score of 383, against Aran Balagueró (249) and Nando Cortés, who finished with 90 points. In the junior K1, the first place went to Dani Gallego, with 500 points. The podium was completed by Ian Salvat (436) and Frenchman Lucien Schreiber (230). The preliminaries of the K1 senior women's category were also played, with victory for the French Marlene Devillez (509), ahead of Nuria Fontané (336) and the also gala Pauline Sourrouille (210).
